Okay so today i blog in the night. I got access from my cousin's laptop. If only i had my own internet connection, life would really start at dusk. Anyway, i forgot to blog about this latest news i heard from the radio. Its about this Mayan calendar which predicts natural disasters so accurately. And it ends on one specific date.

I tried to check it out but i guess i do not have enough time to really find out. I would love to know more. Its so interesting, really..
Anyway, latest update of my life. Last saturday, 200609, i had a beach camping event. With my family. We had fun. I slept at around 3 in the morning, woke up at 630 later. I really enjoyed it. I was banned from going out of Singapore by the school because.. Well.. To ensure i do not get infected by Influenza A H1N1 from overseas trips.. (Not that it has not reached Singapore..)
But really, that was my second beach trip last week. The first time.. Haha.. A freak accident happened at our teacher's farewell party.. Here's where i come to tell the story..
It was around 3 more or less.. Akidah (a good friend), Dhalia (another good friend), and myself (an acquaintance..?) went to roam the island as the others were having a great time swimming. Akidah, did not bring spare clothes. Dhalia, wore bikinis under her dress but was too shy to take them off (though her dress itself showed her bikinis under them). Whereas i.. I don't swim (because i'd drown)..
We went off for about more than an hour, thats for sure. When we came back, everybody was out of the water. A good friend, Karen, approached us and asked 'seen Esther (another good friend)?'
We said no. Then we asked why.
She replied, 'Shannon drowned.'
Okay, so one of our classmates drowned. This was what Karen said.
'Actually Randy was drowning. Then Shannon tried to save him. Then he pushed her and she drowned. Esther brought her to the toilet.'
Then somebody yelled for everybody to go over to Pahlawan Beach (i forgot to tell you we were in Sentosa). So the three of us went first. On the way there, we met up with Shannon and Esther. This is Shannon's part of the story.
'Randy was drowning. Don't know why he went so deep into the water. Nobody saw what happened. Then Jia Yu (our class chairman cum basketball captain) went to save him. Then Jia Yu's leg got cramps in the water. Randy was already grasping onto him. Then Zhan Yi (another basketball guy) went to help. I came to help as well. Then Randy let go of both Jia Yu and Zhan Yi, he grabbed onto me. His arm was grabbing onto my neck, and i couldn't do anything. I heard him say 'Shannon, i want to breathe. I can't breathe!'. By that time i was totally submerged in the water. I didn't know what happened next, i blacked out. When i woke up, Jing Jia (our Drama club girl), was pulling me out of the water.'
Then the others were gaining on us. Akidah insisted that we get going, she was shy to show the others that she was wearing shades. Nice. I just got a news coverage. But really, i did not have the time to 'interview' dear dying Randy. I really wish i could get full details of the incident. Unfortunately nobody died. If somebody did, it really would have been a farewell party.
So that should be all for now. I would update more. Anyway, i was looking for a way to post up my original works up on the internet, where people would be able to enjoy reading (without having others trying to plagiarise my stories).. I'd go on searching for more..

They say school holidays are fun..
I say.. BULL****
Okay, so its fun.. For you or for other people it is.. Not for Secondary students.. Especially 'O' levelers.. As i said, life only starts at dusk for me.. Where it is most important for me to chill out, to relax.. But since school starts early (even during these HOLIDAYS), i have to sleep early, get loads of rest.. Or eventually end up breaking down one day.
Anyway, i got one story to share.. I got it from my mum last night. Just last night. Its her experience of exorcising a friend's cousin during a Hari Raya event. Here goes..
It was late in the night and she went to a friend's house. My mother's friend, lets put her name as A. Her friend's cousin, lets put it as her name is B, was already going home with her family of husband and children.
After five minutes or so of leaving, the family came back. B was already unconscious. So they put her on A's bed and let her rest. Her husband claims that at the void deck, B was constantly glancing back. After a while, she collapsed.
Cut the story short, A came to my mother who was there and eating to attend to B. My mother did. She took several things, one of them was Blackpepper. So my mother put three beads of blackpepper in between B's big toe and the other toe right next to it. B who was unconscious earlier suddenly opened her eyes and stared at my mother. She was still lying down though.
My mother conversed with B, or rather the thing that was in her.
Mother: Why are you disturbing her? Go home.
B: I will not go home! Who do you think you are? You do you think i am scared of you?
Mother: I am nobody and i do not wish you to fear me. Go home. Its a festive season, don't spoil it.
B: I will not go home! I know you! But i am not afraid of you!
Mother: I am nobody. Go home.
B:...
Mother: Are you going home already?
B: I shall leave!
Mother: Thats nice..
And so, that is the conversation between my mother and her. B then collapsed and fainted. My mother said some prayers and sprinkled water on to her face. She woke up, drank some water and looked at my mother with her eyes enlarged. Then she said..
B: Do i know you?
Her husband took her by the arm and brought her home. Then my mother gave her a packet of blackpepper and told her to take the stairs and not the lift. She did. I don't know what happened next. My guess? She used the blackpepper to cook.
So that should be all, i have to leave.. If i find anything i can do, or new or something interesting to share.. I shall upload it here.. Hm...
Chiao Sin Chi! (They're just words that hold no meaning but can be used to replace Bye! or Da! or Ja! or... Whatever you may know of to say goodbye!)
